MICHELLE CLEMENS

Michelle Clemens is an Emmy nominated journalist who joined Action 2 News in February 2014 as a general assignment reporter.

During her time in Green Bay, she’s covered a variety of stories—everything from the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon to Brett Favre’s unexpected return to Green Bay. In 2015, she was nominated for an Emmy award and is a member of the award-winning teams honored by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association for spot news coverage in 2015 and coverage of the 2014 election. She loves getting to share a different story with viewers each day.

Prior to Action 2 News, Michelle was an anchor and reporter at KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri. She also spent time working at the ABC News Washington Bureau where she wrote, produced, and edited content for all ABC affiliate stations. She joined the ABC News team again in November 2012 for coverage of the presidential election.

Michelle has always had a passion for the news and knew “what she wanted to be when she grew up” since she was in elementary school. That passion led her to attend the University of Missouri, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism degree, a minor in political science, and a certificate in multicultural studies.

Michelle’s an avid marathoner and you can almost always find her training for her next race. When she’s not working or running, she loves traveling, photography, and making award winning cupcakes.
